The social responsibility norm is a societal regulation that requires people to assist those who are in need. Yes, during this pandemic, I have observed and read numerous examples of the social responsibility norm in action. Many people in my community have come forward to assist their neighbors who have been adversely impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. During the lockdown, one such family of nine individuals was fed by their neighbors. I've seen some college students in my community assist families in need by not only providing groceries but also providing vitamins to boost their resistance.
